About Us

We are one of the largest branches of the Dry Stone Walling Association based in the town of Otley in West Yorkshire. We also have an active group that meet regularly in Leyburn, North Yorkshire.

As a registered charity, our aims are to promote and encourage the craft of dry stone walling.

An introduction to dry stone walling for those contemplating a career change or looking for an outdoor interest

We attend most of the country shows in the area to demonstrate and promote the craft of dry stone walling

We undertake public projects to promote the craft of dry stone walling

We encourage members to achieve higher qualifications to enhance their walling careers.
