The Otley and Yorkshire Dales Branch has a core objective of preserving the craft of dry-stone walling,
which it pursues through demonstrations at local shows, weekend training courses and a comprehensive
programme of pracice meetings.
While our aims may be serious and lofty, we feel achieving them ought to be a pleasurable activity,
which happens to benefit both the local community and helps preserve part of our national heritage.
Learning to build dry-stone walls, discovering some of their natural history, helping to make our area a better
place to live - there's something for everyone.
Why not discover more of our work for yourself at our next monthly meeting held at the Social Club,
Western Drive, Otley on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30. You will be very welcome.
